1.1 Copyright Retention

Under Kmed Journal's open access model,authors retain full copyright of their published work. By submitting a manuscript, authors grant Kmed Journal a non-exclusive licence to publish, reproduce, distribute, and archive the article, but the copyright remains with the authors.

1.2 Creative Commons Licensing

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. Under this licence, readers are free to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercially

Under the following conditions:

  • Attribution: Appropriate credit must be given to the original authors, a link to the licence must be provided, and any changes must be indicated

1.3 Reuse of Published Material

Authors are free to reuse their own published articles in subsequent works (e.g., book chapters, PhD theses, presentations) without seeking permission from Kmed Journal, provided they include proper attribution:

"This article was originally published in [Journal Name], [Year], Vol. [X], No. [X], pages [XX-XX], doi:[DOI]. Licensed under CC BY 4.0."

1.4 Third-Party Content

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any third-party copyrighted material included in their manuscript (e.g., figures, tables, extended quotes). Proof of permission must be submitted with the manuscript, and appropriate attribution must be included in the figure/table caption.
